Coronavirus news

March 17, 2020

The Catholic Cemetery Association is closely monitoring the coronavirus pandemic and following the protocols recommended by the CDC.

We are still operational in most capacities but have made some changes to protect our staff and our families.

Administrative Office: Though the administration office is closed to the public, we continue to staff the office for Cemetery business. If you need assistance, contact us at 781-322-6300.

Our grounds remain open to the public, but our offices and mausoleums are closed until further notice.

Sales: Our staff is available, by appointment, to assist families with the purchase of burial space if a death has occurred or is imminent. Until further notice, we will not be scheduling pre-need sales appointments in our office. We will continue to assist families with advance planning by other means, such as by phone and email. (781-322-6300 or contactus@ccemetery.org)

Burial Services: Currently, we continue to perform all scheduled burials, both traditional and cremation. In accord with social distancing, we have discontinued the use of our chapels for services until further notice.

Operationally we will be working in a more limited capacity.

We are asking funeral directors and families to limit their services to 10 or fewer family members and follow the social distancing protocols of more than six feet when attending these services.
We also ask the family to disperse immediately following the service.

We ask that the public use phones, fax and email to communicate and visit our website at ccemetery.org for updates as they occur.
